Motorola Defy to get worthyupgrade
Posted by Amit Raghuwanshi on 10:23 PM
Back then in 2010, when the
Motorola Defy rolled into our
midst, we loved the way it handled
all the rude handling with a body
that was rugged enough to handle
anything, the affordable price
tag and the brilliant Google
Android backend that made
everything so beautiful. Now,
Motorola have decided to give the
phone a facelift to the Defy with
an enhanced version that will
upgrade the firmware and
upgrade the process. So the
800MHz OMAP 3610 CPU will be
replaced by a 1GHz OMAP 3620
one. The Froyo platform will be
released by Android 2.3.3
Gingerbread. So it is safe to
believe that the 5-megapixel
camera, 3.7-inch screen, 512 MB
RAM and 2GB internal memory
will remain intact on the spec
sheet.
There’s
no
telling
as
to
how
much
this
version would cost. However, what
we do know is that the report
seems to be almost true now that
Motorola have neglected the Defy
for so long.

Shelby Tuatara Supercar willsurpass Bugatti Veyron with275mph speed
Posted by Amit Raghuwanshi on 6:27 AM
All this while it was the Bugatti
Veyron Super Sport that has
been gloating over its title of the
world’s fastest production car in
the world with a top speed of 268
mph. but looks like Shelby
Supercars is going to rob away
that pedestal from Bugatti with
its Tuatara supercar that is
reported to touch the roaring
speed of 275mph. The name
actually translates to a reptile in
Maori language which means
‘peaks on the back.’ We find the
name quite befitting owing to the
fact the car has winglets on the
back.
The Tuatara lizard is known for its
fastest evolving DNA in the world
and hence the makers couldn’t
think of a better name than this
one. The body of the car is
crafted out of carbon fiber and
wrapped around a carbon chassis
too. Its crash structures are made
from aluminum whereas the
wheels are again made of carbon
fiber. The engine here is a twin-
turbocharged 7.0-liter V-8
developing upwards of 1,350
horsepower, and drive will be sent
to the rear wheels via a seven-
speed manual transmission. No
word on pricing and availability
yet.

Wikitude Drive brings AugmentedReality Navigation for Androidsmartphones

Wikitude Drive brings Augmented
Reality Navigation for Android
smartphones
Wikitude is bringing the wonders
of augmented reality to your
phone in a new setup called as the
Wikitude Drive. It’s quite similar
to its AR internet browser, but
this one also overlays the driving
directions on top of a live image
of the road, the one you captures
using your smartphone’s camera.
It also gives one the option to
include the usual Pol data thus
you would know where the next gas
station or food joint is.
The app also features the
standard view and voice-based
turn-by-turn commands with a
pedestrian mode in case you
decide to go on foot. The reason
this app will work great is because
you don’t have to really take your
eyes off the road when you check
for navigation instructions on the
handset. As of now it is available
in Canada, US and Mexico for a
price of $9.99. it is expected to
be available for folks from UK,
France, Italy, Spain, Austria,
Germany, and Switzerland
sometime during this year.
