3D printer uses chocolate for ink

3D printers are amazing and have been coming to us in the form of intense concepts. However, now they're doing us more good with the use of edible ink. The Digital Academy program from the UK Research Council has created the 3D printer that prints objects using chocolate as ink. That's awesome because you gain the ability to print objects as edible desserts. In fact, it was built to take in printed images of objects that were demanded by customers and provide some good chocolate in return, shaped exactly as the input image.

A useful insight on the whole activity states that the printer is eco-friendly since the residue is palatable and doesn't scum-up the earth.
