Acer knows that those who would make the most of Intel's Sandy Bridge processor-powered systems, needn't necessarily have to be those who can juggle four digit price tags as if they tea bags. So, they've given us the TimelineX series of laptops that can help bring in the agility of the awesome processor without spending much. The 13.3-inch model packs Nvidia GT540M graphics driver, and Dolby audio. The best part is that all this can be run with the powerful Intel Core i5 processor. If you want to save even more then you can go in for less powerful ones that give you size options of 14- and 15.6-inch variants.
The 13.3-inch model could cost you $780, while the 14-inch and 15.6-inch models would cost $700 and $600 respectively. The cheaper they go the bigger the screens get.
