ASUS Eee PC X101: $200 worth ultra-slim netbook will run Meego

ASUS has really big plans for today. With its mighty Padfone device, there is also an addition for its uber skinny Eee PC Netbook series- the Eee PC X101. Driven by MeeGo or Windows 7 in a dual-boot environment, the netbook also houses Intel’s 1.5GHz Oak Trail Atom processor with GMA 600 graphics under its hood. A loaded spec sheet is yet to come but main features include 10-inch 1024 x 600 screen, two USB ports, 6-cell battery and a dual-microphone array. The recent developments at the Computex event tells us that it’s going to retail for $200. I wonder if this makes our ultra thin MacBook Air sweat a little bit.
