A game developer’s dream, the Nintendo Project Café gaming console

Nintendo-Project-Café-gaming-console.jpgNintendo’s upcoming gaming console, the successor to the Wii, Project Café turns out to be a lot more compatible and developer-friendly according to Ubisoft CEO, Yves Guillemot. Guillernot states that creating versions of games originally developed for the PS3 and Xbox 360 for the Project Café system isn’t all that difficult. Game developers won’t really need to build a game from scratch all over again just to have it function on Nintendo’s new brainchild. The new gaming platform will have developers all happy, owing to the fact that being all so compatible helps reduce the task of scratch-developing games again.

For now, not too much has surfaced on the new Nintendo gaming console, also referred to as the Wii 2, Wii HD, Nintendo Stream, or Nintendo Feel, though we’re pretty sure about Microsoft and Sony having panic attacks once it’s out.
