Teleconferences we among the more boring, yet challenging means of doing business meetings. Of course, it would be far more easy to simply have a meeting with the person if front of you rather than in a lifeless screen. That's where the whole idea of brining your inscreen buddies to life comes in. Enter the 3D glassless video conferencing movement by Kinect. This new move is really intriguing to hackers who have had their share with experiments but now the real researchers are showing interest. Their work of genius has given us a little tableu
that follows your head as you rotate it! Now we're talking' aren't we? The group responsible for the current working model uses 3D mapping to render the video with the help of at least 4 consoles. There's some headtracking done at the recieving end to bring the 3D to life.
