Mitsubishi has finally rolled out the price figures for the bunch of HDTVs it showed off at CES this year. The lineup included the 640, 740 and Diamond 840 Series, and LaserVue series. To start with, we have the 640 series 3D DLP Home Cinema TV which delivers high quality performance in a 73-inch screen size for a price of $1,599. The 740 series features a built-in 3D IR emitter, wireless internet connectivity, and support for various TV apps. It is available in choice of 73-inch and 83-inch models for a price of $2,099 and $3,499, respectively.
The LaserVue model comes with the 75-inch size and specs like Clear Contrast Screen, built-in WiFi, 4 HDMI inputs, and up to 120Hz variable smooth film motion. The Diamond 840 series is the top-of-the-heap stuff with 73-inch, 82-inch and the massive 92-inch flavors for $2,599, $4,199, and $5,999, respectively. Except for the size, features like a new Clear Contrast Screen, integrated 16-speaker surround sound, Bluetooth audio, sub-woofer output, and 4 HDMI inputs remain constant throughout all the models of this series.
