It’s just been 4 days since ASUS filed the USPTO trademark document for its upcoming much-hyped Padfone device. The name isn’t exactly a charm but it surely speaks volumes for itself. With the official release just few hours away, the folks at PocketNow managed to unearth some images which tells us that the main highlight of the device is actually at its back. This is ASUS’s first smartphone that comes with a tablet as an accessory.
The package primarily has two pieces i.e. an Android running ASUS phone which docks inside a tablet when necessary. The images tell us about small projection on the dock lid for the phone’s camera and also hinting on dual speakers owing to the mesh structure on either sides of the dock. A complete dope on specs will be unveiled at the Computex show but the images alone are pepping me up right now. It is expected to be available in choice of two colors – copper and black. We sincerely hope ASUS scores on the expectations that we have set for this beautiful integration between a smartphone and tablet.
